There are mainly three type of solar panel which are;
Mono crystalline; This is the most efficient and expensive solar panel and that’s because of the complicated crystal growth process in which it was build. Individual pure silicon rod are produced and sliced into .2 to .4mmthick disc or wafers which are in turn processed into a single cell and wired together into solar panel and this is why joepascal solar world recommends this solar panel
Polycrystalline; this is slightly less efficient because it’s not built in single crystalline but in large block of many crystals which makes their appearance look like a striking shattered glass and this makes them slightly less expensive unlike the monocrystalline in some cases in we recommend this depending on the location of use weather factor
Amorphous; metals or glasses are used to deposit some thin layers of silicon them to form solar panels therefore they are not really crystal and they are much less efficient and as such very cheap. And we in joepascal sola/inverter solution never recommend the use of this solar panel
Solar panels installations; In Joepascal solar world we understand that location is one of the primary factor to put to consideration when it comes to solar panel installation, shades or shadows on solar panel during peak hours will not only reduce the output but can cause damage to your panels, even though some manufacturers advertise solar panels that can withstand shadows but they are build with diodes which on it’s own reduces current so we advice choosing very good location for your installation than to go for the second best.
Joepascal solar/inverter team also recommends that though we need maximum sunlight on the solar panel but the heat build-up also decreases solar panels efficient as the temperature builds-up, therefore one should endvour to space panels to allow flow of air during solar panel mounting as it makes it cooler and therefore cause wind resistance of the whole array
